Stockholm January 2009

We went to Stockholm during winter of 2009. It is a city which is built on 14 separate islands connected by 57 bridges. Next time we will definitely come back during warmer season, where we can experience the beautiful Skärgården ( archipelago).

This is the main train station in the middle of Stockholm and the area is called Vasastan.

Going back to the past. It's the only 17th century warship in the world and can be found at the Vasa museum. What an amazing sight. More than 95% of the ship is actually original. Jack Sparrow is out on vacation, so we didn't get a chance to meet him hehe.

The entrance to 'Gamla Stan' (old town). It is somehow feel like a journey back in time. Magnificent it is!

See how cold it was when we were there. The river was covered by ice.

A night shot in Gamla Stan. We kinda like how the sun is nesting behind the bridge. The light is just perfect for a night shot.
