Berlin June 2008

Some of the pictures from our trip to urban Berlin in the summer of 2008. We love Berlin because of the history and the atmosphere here. Definitely one of our favorite city in europe.

This is Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche on the famous Kurfürstendamm. The clash of the modern and old architecture.

The Berliner Dom...massive!

East Side Gallery..there is a lots of thing people can learn from this tragic time. And there is almost 2 km of the Berlin Wall still remains here. People can walk along the wall and view the variety of graffiti artworks with messages that can change your view towards the world.

Our favourite cafe in Prenzlauer Berg. Never get tired of it...will always come back no matter if it's rain, storm or whatever!!! Luv it!!

Jack Johnson concert at Kindl-Bühne outskirt of Berlin. What an amazing concert and atmosphere. Definitely a top-notch venue for an outdoor concert. Fantastisch!!

The charming Jack Johnson in action. We just love this picture:-)

Reichstag..as you know this is one of the most famous landmarks in Berlin. Good luck queuing up to get in..be prepared to stand there for 2-3 hours hehe.

Checkpoint Charlie -  The symbol of the cold war. This is where the borderline between east and west Berlin at that time. But too bad Charlie is not there hehe :-)
