Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary was established in 1989 and since then it has been more and more attractive to many visitors from all over the world, who want to learn a bit about this loving and intelligent mammal. This sanctuary is managed by Malaysian Department of Wildlife and National Parks and all the workers here are well trained. The sanctuary is located about 2 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur and visitors can also reach this sanctuary by using the public transport. It is really worth a visit if you are in Malaysia. So let us support, protect, and help this gentle giant to live freely in the wild!
