Malaga August/September 2011

Malaga is the 2nd largest city in Andalucia and during our holiday in Torremolinos this was our escape from the tourist nightmare.

Malaga Cathedral , nicknamed "La Manquita" which means "the one-armed lady". The cathedral is even to this day unfinished and lack of one tower due to a bishop who donated the money to the American War of Independence against the British. However it is still a very beautiful cathedral and quite big.

Some of the ruins of Alcazaba. Alcazaba was a moorish city way back in time.

A night shot of Malaga Cathedral.

This is why we loved about Malaga..tapas bars on every corner of the streets:-)

Let's rock yeahhh!

A romantic night at the main square, Plaza de la Constitución.

The famous bullfighting ring in Malaga.

Tapas, tapas, and tapas again..las tapas el pojos hehe! In the front chorizo sausage, to the right Spanish meatballs in tomato sauce, to the left chips with Salchichón cured sausage and in the back crab salad with Spanish white bread. Do we need to say more...yum yum delicioso.

Pretending we are locals and having Spanish wine and cava with fresh olives. The wine and cava are amazingly cheap...we like!
