Nerja August/September 2011

Nerja is a very charming seaside town with nice smaller beaches. We had one of the best italian food and it was really cheap. We really wanna come back again to this charming town.

A nice small beach of Nerja.

We like the beautiful pattern on the stairs and the wall. It is so spanish!

Balcon de Europa, will gives you the magnificent view over the rocky coastline.

This is the most popular parking space in the the whole of Spain, we forgot what it is call.

Cooling down!

Papparazi busy taking photos of celebrities.

It is just us posing.

Frigiliana August/September 2011

Frigiliana is a pretty and idyllic moorish village clinging to the lower slopes of Monte Fuerte. We wish we had more time there.

White moorish houses are all over.

The locals hanging out and talking about the old days.

We love the crafts that the locals made here in Frigiliana. Colorful and authentic!

White must be the official color of Frigiliana.

View from the top of the hill overlooking the village and the valleys.

The locals of Frigiliana, chatting about their daily life.

One of the cute and charming door in the village of Frigiliana.

Seville August/September 2011

Seville is the capital of Andalucia region and it is famous for tapas, oranges and gorgeous woman. And it is as well known for their hot temperature during summer, but when we were there the heavy rain pouring down like it will be the last rain of the year.

One of many narrow alley of Seville, let's get lost!

A local street artist showing his masterful artworks.

This shot was taken inside Seville's gothic church. Beautiful!!

The tomb of Christopher Columbus.

Seville gothic church is the largest gothic church in the world. Massive!!!

La Giralda tower still standing proud like the old days.

The Seville cathedral standing side by side with La Giralda tower.

Having our lunch at one of many tapas bar around Seville. Spanish taste!!

Alhambra August/September 2011

The magnificent Alhambra is a Moorish palace and fortress from the 14th century situated in the Province of Granada, Spain. It is a Unesco World Heritage Site and the inspiration for many songs and stories. Behold!!!

The Palace of Charles V from the outside. ( is not part of Alhambra )

The lower level of the circular patio of the Palace of Charles V, which remind us of the Roman Empire.

The detail of the stone carving compliment the Almighty Allah s.a.w all over Alhambra is totally mind boggling. It shows how devoted the Moorish muslims were to the Almighty Allah s.a.w. Unbelievable and speechless!!!

Patio de les Arrayanes of Alhambra.

The view of Granada city from Alhambra

Again, the detail of the stone carving is mind blowing. Masterpiece!

Palacio de Generalife. What a beautiful fountain!! Tranquility!!

Granada August/September 2011

We went on a day trip to Granada to see the city itself and to explore the amazing Alhambra. We wished we could stay there longer. If you ever get the chance to go there, just do it...it's highly recommended!

Just a view of the olive plantation when we were taking a break on the way to Granada from Torremolinos.

Wandering around in the middle of Granada city.

Yet another cathedral..this time Granada cathedral.

A short break on top of a hill in Albaicín with the fantastic view of Alhambra. Albaicín is a moorish neighborhood with small and colorful houses and very narrow streets. Really charming!

Tourist can buy many variety of spices and tea on the street of Granada. Fancy a cup of tea, darling?

Malaga August/September 2011

Malaga is the 2nd largest city in Andalucia and during our holiday in Torremolinos this was our escape from the tourist nightmare.

Malaga Cathedral , nicknamed "La Manquita" which means "the one-armed lady". The cathedral is even to this day unfinished and lack of one tower due to a bishop who donated the money to the American War of Independence against the British. However it is still a very beautiful cathedral and quite big.

Some of the ruins of Alcazaba. Alcazaba was a moorish city way back in time.

A night shot of Malaga Cathedral.

This is why we loved about Malaga..tapas bars on every corner of the streets:-)

Let's rock yeahhh!

A romantic night at the main square, Plaza de la Constitución.

The famous bullfighting ring in Malaga.

Tapas, tapas, and tapas again..las tapas el pojos hehe! In the front chorizo sausage, to the right Spanish meatballs in tomato sauce, to the left chips with Salchichón cured sausage and in the back crab salad with Spanish white bread. Do we need to say more...yum yum delicioso.

Pretending we are locals and having Spanish wine and cava with fresh olives. The wine and cava are amazingly cheap...we like!

Torremolinos August/September 2011

As we expected, it was comfortably warm and sunny in this infamous region of Costa Del Sol Andalucia Spain. We finally landed on the soil of Southern Spain for the first time and we know we will keep coming back to this flamenco and tapas country again and again, hola Espania!!!

A first shot from our little camera in Torremolinos.

A breathtaking view that we will never forget, fantastico!!!

The spanish people really know how to dance, salute!!

The sunrise that will hypnotize you, woahhhhh!!!

Costa Del Sol is well known for their variety of fresh seafood, muy bueno!!!

The hustle bustle of the little town of Torremolinos.

What can we say more, a nice beach, warm and sunny day. This is what we called relaxation and this is how we are going to spend our retirement in the future.

A very effective way to get rid all the sands on your feet, we like!!

What a beachbum!!! Boooooo!!!!

Me against the world!!! A baywatch wannabe and 5 minutes later this dumbass was blown away by a huge wave. What a loser!
